Description

The Bellman x Samantha Baines Baby Cry Alerting Bundle has been developed as a joint venture to provide Bellman Visit wireless alerting both during the day and at night. This bundle contains a Baby Cry transmitter to pick up when your child is making a sound and includes Flash receiver for day and a bed shaker which can be connected in for night-time alerting. Samantha Baines is a multi award-winning comedian, actress, broadcaster and best selling author. As a hearing aid wearer herself, she is ambassador for the Royal National Institute for Deaf People and the author of critically acclaimed children's books with deaf main characters, as well as the best-selling non-fiction book 'Living With Hearing Loss and Deafness'.

The Bellman Visit baby crying wireless alerting bundle is a great solution for deaf parents or carers who want to receive an alert when their baby or child cries.

When the baby monitor transmitter is activated, it signals the Visit flash receiver which then notifies you via flashing lights. A vibrating pad can be connected for night time use.

Our evaluation panel found the baby transmitter, when used with a Bellman Visit system, to be a great solution for deaf parents or carers. It's easy to set up and use and the adjustable sensitivity is really useful, particularly as your baby gets older. The option to add in a Contact mat (purchased separately), extends the life of the system as it is great for older children who are able to get out of their own bed. This transmitter is not a 'monitor' in the sense that you can listen to or watch your baby, but it will pick up when they are making noise and alert you.

The BE1442 flash receiver includes a battery backup - so you can take it with you around your home or have peace of mind that your flashing alert will still function in the event of a power cut.

The Bellman Visit range is ideal for anyone who is deaf or hard of hearing as it provides alerts via lights, sounds and vibrations, so you can immediately be notified whenever something happens that needs your attention in and around your home.

Baby transmitter features:

Adjustable sensitivity and delay - you can easily adjust the sensitivity and time delay (1 second/10 seconds/30 seconds) of the baby monitor so it is not activated every time your child moves or coughs in their sleep
Secure and reliable - the Visit range uses a secure radio link that covers your entire home (up to 250m operating range)
Customisable notifications - if you have more than one child and more than one transmitter, you can choose different signals for each so you know which child needs your attention
Easy to use - no complex menus
3.5mm external trigger input - can be used with optional accessories such as the Contact Mat (sold separately) - be alerted if your child leaves the bed

Please note that Bellman have designed this baby monitor to respond to the sounds of a baby crying and the product is not suitable for being alerted to other sounds eg. dogs, cats etc.
