Description
This Signolux Night-time Tower Smoke & CO system comes with 2 Signolux Guardion Interlink smoke detectors, 1 Signolux Interlink CO Carbon Monoxide/Heat Detector, Signolux Tower rechargeable receiver and a bed vibrator pad.
Many hearing aid users can hear smoke alarms during the day, this system is intended for night-time use when hearing aids are not being worn. The Tower Receiver would be in the bedroom with the bed vibrator pad under the mattress or pillow.
Our suggestion is that one smoke alarm would be fitted in the lounge and the other in the upstairs landing (in a 2 floor house), the CO/Heat alarm would normally be fitted in the kitchen where 60% of fires start. Additional smoke alarms should be fitted in any room where there is a fire risk. General advice on smoke alarm placement is widely available on the internet or from your local fire service.
Additional Signolux Tower receivers, belt worn Signolux portable vibrating receiver or other receiver can be added for daytime cover.
The Signolux system is based around a portable tower chime unit which receives signals from the transmitters (200m range) and alerts you to the different events with a flashing symbol, adjustable loud sound (up to 95dB) and a bright LED light.
For each transmitter, you can chose from 16 different sounds and 8 visual icons, plus you can have multiple transmitters and any number of receiver units, allowing you to fully customise your system. The Tower receiver is rechargeable and easily portable. There is the option to add in additional triggers or accessories such as more doorbells or an acoustic transmitter - all purchased separately, see associated items below.

All Humantechnik Signolux alerting modules can be connected via the AUX socket on its back, for example, the vibrating pad, flash module, vibrating contraption and others (see accessories).

The Guardion smoke detector transmitter works seamlessly with the Signolux alerting system.
It operates as a standard smoke alarm and will beep when triggered, but also sends a wireless signal to the Signolux chimes.
The detector has a built-in battery which will last up to 10 years.

Signolux Interlink CO Carbon Monoxide/Heat Detetor –
combined carbon monoxide and temperature detector, also for use
in areas unsuitable for regular smoke detectors
The Signolux Guardion Interlink Smoke Detector
works seamlessly with the Signolux Visual Indication system and
will allow you to make interlinked smoke alarm systems using
multiples of this item paired to a Signolux receiver or many
receivers.
Particularly for areas in which there are fuel-operated devices and incomplete combustion processes cannot be ruled out, there is a risk that harmful smoke gases - especially carbon monoxide, which is often lethal - can spread.
These include rooms with fireplaces or garages. Here, the
use of regular smoke detectors with optoelectronic sensor
technology (smoke particle detection) can increasingly lead to
false alarms.
The CO Carbon Monoxide/Heat Detector from Humantechnik
has been developed for these environments. It detects and
reports elevated carbon monoxide levels in the room air at an
early stage and also reacts when the room temperature exceeds a
limit of 60 °C.
