Description

Over time, our hearing naturally evolves. Although this is perfectly normal, the changes can alter the quality of the sounds we experience, for example when watching TV or listening to music.

The new RS 195 wireless headphones take these changes into account to provide exceptional sound that can be fully personalised to your hearing.

The unique sound settings are perfectly adapted for individuals with mild to moderate hearing loss.

The Sennheiser RS 195 headphones are the result of a collaboration between two specialists in two different domains: Sennheiser, a leading acoustics expert for over 70 years & Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology IDMT which has developed signal-processing strategies based on hearing aid technology* for use in consumer electronics. Using this combined know how, we were able to build unique sound settings that are perfectly adapted to the needs of individuals with mild to moderate hearing loss. *This technology does not replace or function in the same way as a hearing aid and is not a medical product.

Help Centre

How best can I connect the transmitter to my audio device?
You can connect the transmitter to your audio device using either a digital (optical) or an analog connection. We recommend using the digital connection. The connections for audio devices are usually labelled "AUDIO OUT" or "DIGITAL OUT". The required audio cables are supplied.

Which digital input formats are supported by the digital optical audio input?
The wireless headphone system supports “PCM” or “stereo” audio signals. Surround sound formats are not supported. If an audio device/TV is connected to the digital optical input of the transmitter, set the audio format of the connected device to “PCM” or “stereo” by using the sound menu of the device.

Can I use several headphones/receivers with one RS195 transmitter?
You can use up to two HDR 165, HDR 175 or HDR 195 headphones with one transmitter. This allows, for example, if you have two systems you and your partner to listen at different volume levels. When simultaneously using different types of headphones (e.g. an HDR 195 and an HDR 175), bear in mind that they will differ in both sound characteristics and operation.
