Description
A loud 95dB alarm clock with vibrating bed shaker and super
bright circle of red LED flashing lights that is ideal for anyone
who has a profound hearing loss or who is a heavy sleeper.
You can customise the alarm settings so you can have the
vibration function, flash function and alarm functions optimised to
your own personal preference. The alarm can be set to: shaker only,
sound+shaker, shaker+light or all shaker+sound+light. You can also
select between high and low power vibration, 3 volume levels and 3
frequencies of sound.
The clock is supplied with a powerful bed shaker which can be
used under your pillow. If you don't use the sound option, the bed
shaker provides a way of waking you but not your partner.
The inbuilt red LED lights serves as a bright flash when the
alarm goes off or you can use the lamp function should you need
some extra light. The dimmer means you can adjust the strength of
the clock display according to your preference.
You can also use the USB port on the alarm clock to charge
smartphones and other electronics.
Our evaluation panel found this clock to be both fun and
practical. It has the same features as the Wake'n'Shake Star from
Geemarc but with a different look. The vibration strength is very
good and the alarm sound is nice and loud. The flashing LEDs are
bright and will certainly catch your attention but are not likely
to wake you up. It is easy to set up and use and the USB charging
facility is handy. We particularly like that you have both up and
down buttons for setting the time - it's so easy to miss the time
you're after and have to go round again!
