PPS Doorbell trigger unit - extended range Channel 2.

The PPS doorbell trigger is supplied complete with a short connecting wire which should be connected directly across the terminals of your low voltage doorbell (not the bell push!) you will need a small screwdriver to do this and yes your doorbell will still work afterwards! It is possible to use a piezo sound sensor if direct connection is not possible doorbell PTU piezo part no. 50PTPIEZOLD, see below.

The Doorbell PTU is supplied with a PP3 alkaline battery and 1 metre connecting lead.

Technical support note:
The doorbell trigger has many other uses in addition to doorbell connection.
The triggering voltage range is 1-30V dc & 1-20V ac rms so it can be used with any product which has a bell, buzzer or sounder within this range... such as:

• Door entry systems (dc or ac) - connect across the buzzer.

• Car alarm systems - connect across the 12V dc sounder.

• Burglar alarm systems - connect across sounder.

This doorbell trigger unit cannot be directly connected to a wireless doorbell, however a piezzo may be used.
