The Multiwand allows parents and professionals to verify the operation of cochlear implant coils from all three major manufacturers: Advanced Bionics, Cochlear and MED-EL.

Very quick and easy to use, the Multiwand verifies that the sound processor’s transmitting coil is sending a signal across the skin, to the implant. If the signal going to the implant ever cuts in and out, or disappears completely, simply place the Multiwand over the coil. Make sure the processor is switched on. If the red light lights up, you’ll know the coil is working.
